The concept is so darn simple, it is a shame that it is not more prevalent.   Struggling with seeing the big picture for your product or solution?  Do you have user story explosion and it is difficult to see the roadmap and big picture?  Afraid you are missing something?  Backlog gold plating going on? Arguing about features, or worse technical implementation details related to features or stories?

Get out of that game and get it up on the wall.  Get focused on the activies of your end-users and begin to map out a game plan for value added deliveries.  Story mapping can help.

Not familiar with Story Mapping, this is a quick reference.

I came across an online tool that says it can support story mapping called Craft.io.  I’ve not used it, but looks interesting.  However, just stickies on a wall can work just fine as well.
